Joshua Flade, CFA®, is the co-founder of Park City Investment Solutions (PCIS) and Chief Investment Officer at Park City Wealth Advisors, where he leads the firm’s investment committee, oversees portfolio construction, and drives research across global markets.
Josh began his career at Goldman Sachs in the Credit Research Group, covering financial institutions and global sectors across Central and Eastern Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. He later joined Ensign Peak Advisors, where he specialized in fixed income and credit analysis, deepening his understanding of how disciplined research and thoughtful diversification create lasting value.
After Ensign Peak, Josh joined TownSquare Capital, a startup Outsourced Chief Investment Officer (OCIO) for financial advisors and small-to-mid-size institutions where Josh successful built out a $1bn+ AUM fixed income SMA platform and became the Deputy Chief Investment Officer, helping to oversee the firm’s $6.5bn in AUM. After Orion Advisor Solutions purchased TownSquare, Josh became the Deputy Chief Investment Officer at Orion Advisor Solutions, helping oversee the firms $75bn+ in AUM.
Josh’s investment philosophy centers on clarity, balance, and client outcomes — designing portfolios that combine growth, income, and protection across asset classes, whether traditional public markets or private markets, including, private credit, real estate, real assets, private equity, venture capital, and hedge funds. At PCIS, Josh helps advisors nationwide access institutional portfolios through scalable models that empower them to deliver more confident, data-driven advice to their clients.
Beyond the numbers, Josh is a dedicated mentor and community leader. He has served as president of both the CFA® Society Salt Lake and the BYU Management Society. He also volunteers as a youth sports coach for his children and in his local church, reflecting his belief that success means giving more than you take.
Originally from Hailey, Idaho, Josh now lives in Draper, Utah, with his wife and three children. Whether he’s exploring national parks, teaching youth groups, or refining new models for PCIS, Josh is guided by a simple purpose — to build frameworks that help people and communities thrive for generations.
